West Coast IPA pours a clear yellow with a medium-head—-bitter aroma. The flavor has cereal notes with a nice bitter finish. Good feel. It is a more classic IPA with a hint of sweetness and a stronger bitter finish.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had citrus and bittering hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp semi sweet malt base with citrus, hints of pine and bold finish hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Handsome orange-amber color with abundant foam in the Orval chalice. Citrus nose. Sudsy and lush mouthfeel. Mellow and malty with the hops lifting off into the grapefruit realms. Fairly dry and quite fruity, but it's all grapefruit. Leaves a distinct bitter afterburn. From the 16 oz can dated 7/21/22.

This checks all the WCIPA boxes for me - a beautiful burnt orange color with a bit of hop haze and a sudsy off-white head, dank citrus notes on the nose, and a nice dank citrus flavor profile with some pine bitterness and a bit of caramalt for balance and a full, drying mouthfeel.
The first sniff and taste had me saying, “This is like Sculpin.” I try to avoid those kinds of comparisons, but that’s what I thought. Really well done WCIPA, IMHO.

16oz can (dated 1/20/21) poured into 14oz teku. poured a clear coppery gold color wan inch of off-white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma had some caramel scents supporting bright, citrusy hops.
Similar on the tongue, with the malts being more grain oriented, and the hops brighter, with the citrus really shining.
The body was on the full side of medium, was a bit bold, and had a semi-dry, bitter finish. just like a mature IPA should.
Drinkability was good, this ain't no kiddies beer.
Overall, a nice example of the "Classic" American IPA. Grab some if you see it.
