Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with two finger white head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, lemon, tangerine, grapefruit and light pine. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and mixed fruit hops, tangerine, grapefruit, ripe tropical fruit and a little dankness; good citrus rind bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid West Coast style IPA leaning mostly to the citrus end of the spectrum with some dank character and a little pine lingering in the finish. The Mosaic hops do not have a lot of presence but the Amarillo grapefruit and orange are clear notes. Glad to have a WC IPA for beer week.
