Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 4/8/25.
Appearance: medium orange hue with plenty of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweet malt with tons of fresh, rich, ripe grapefruit aroma. There's also some pineapple in the works, maybe some lighter tropical flavors as well, but for me this is super grapefruity. Almost more like an old-school west coast IPA ... no complaints here!
Taste: much more tropical than the aroma, with passionfruit, mango, guava, and pineapple. It's maybe a little bit sharp -- maybe like a bit more sweetness or oats or something might kick this beer up a notch. That said, it's damn good as it is.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I'm really enjoying this one! Like I said, maybe some oats or something would bring this one to the next level, but still it's damn tasty.
