Poured from a growler into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium to dark coppery amber with a fine, one finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Looks nice. Aroma of caramel and lightly biscuit malt, citrus and grassy hops, a hint of mixed fruit. Flavor is biscuit malt, citrus hops, lemon and grapefruit juice and rind. Finishes with citrus rind and faint citrus fruit esters, with lingering hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Looks and smells like a malty West Coast style IPA, but the flavor leans towards old fashioned English inspired IPA, except with more citrus, rind and bitterness level. A nice malty traditional IPA.
