Poured from crowler into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: murky medium-brown hue with a thick head of frothy ivory foam with lots of retention. Quite good.
Smell: biscuity malt with a fair bit of sweetness and a mild but interesting pumpkin-osity.
Taste: very smooth; a slightly sweet, nutty brown ale with a decent bit of biscuit and a subtle but good pumpkin flavor. The biscuity character is not my favorite thing in the world, but overall this is a smooth, sweet and interesting brown ale. Very autumnal; I dig it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate but well-integrated carbonation and a good creaminess.
Overall: I quite like this beer. I think it has some really good character and it's pretty subtle and unique as pumpkin beers go.
