32 ounce crowler sent from Kemoarps in a LIF. Arrived cold, immediately put in my fridge. Split with Mrs Strohme2 into two nonic pints.
2 different colored pours. First is crystal clear, second is slightly hazy. Both are golden yellow. Just a quick burst of head that left as soon as it appeared. I won’t knock the appearance too much as it was a crowler and went a little longer than was best.
Aromas of lemon zest, lime zest, my wife says it smells “sweet and fruity”. Some light barnyard noted too and lemon curd.
Taste is lemon, sweet citrus, unsweetened yogurt smoothie, cookie crumbs (that’s right!). It’s not quite grainy, definitely not doughy, but somewhere in the middle. A Sweet lemon cookie. SweeTart level tartness for the finish. Just fine for me.
Crisp and light body. Carbonation may be lacking but that’s probably due to the age on the crowler.
This would be a nice summer crusher on the deck, by the pool, after mowing the lawn. Today, I’m enjoying it in the kitchen, looking out on the fresh snow covered deck wishing it was summer. Thanks Kestrel!

On tap at The Beermongers.
Mildly hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. On the nose, this is super grainy with a raw wheat note with bright, clean tartness, lemony, tart, yogurt and snappy. Palate opens with blend of preserved lemons, frothy yogurt, buttermilk tartness. Mild vanilla notes. Drying, clean, grainy but not doughy on the finish, this is quite yummy.
