Soho, London is a 5% Pub Ale. Brewed with East Kent Goldings and plenty of biscuit malt, it’s a quintessential malt-forward, gently carbonated British ale.

Poured from a 32 oz crowler, canned and consumed 2/20/21. Deep copper with a good head on the first pour. Bitter nose which evolves into a perfect hoppiness going down. Slightly sweeter than I would have liked for the style, felt heavier than a lot of other English bitters. But overall a truly delicious, malty brew that still allows the hops to shine.

Beautiful crystal clear light copper. Seriously clear. Like I can read the label through the glass. Love it. Initial pour yields two fingers of soapy off white foam, but it dissipates reasonably quickly leaving just isolated patches of bubbles.

I really dig the nose. Fruity on both the hops and the malts, the hops lend bit of floral almost perfume-y character, while the malts have a touch of nutty toasty going on and there's a mild spice that's almost like rye, but could also be the hops, or just my imagination.

Flavour carries the fruity elements from both above, with some floral hops before they become dull earthy mildly bitter to finish. Noble, indeed. The malts carry alongside that with again nutty some mild toast, and some caramel to the finish.

Body is medium thin somewhat oily and goes down really really easily. Enough to keep the mind engaged, but not so much to overwhelm or get cloying or anything. I think this executes the promise really really well, though admittedly I've not got a tonne of comparative experience upon which to draw. At the very least, I could see myself sitting and working through a couple of glasses of this.
