from a 6-pack picked up at Conoco in Helena, MT; first experience w/ Black Eagle; brewed w/ citra, ella, and helga hops
12oz can poured into a Beachcrest IPA-style glass
P orange w/ a small white head; quick recession; lots of active carb and a fair amount of sediment
N soft-med strength aroma; sweet mellow tangerines with some juiciness; inviting
T tangerine notes over crackery malt with some grassy/earthy elements; tasty and cohesive
Mf med-bodied w/ med-high carb
O dig this more than the preceding cream ale that I had (Bridger's Mad Mile); a nicely-done example- drinkable w/ good flavor; would have again; 4's across the board for this one!
