Inspired by the beers produced in the Flemish region of Belgium, Rouge Sauvage (Wild Red) is a masterpiece of flavors. This copper-colored ale is first soured with a wild pitch of Lactobacillus bacteria and then fermented in third-use Buffalo Trace barrels with specialty yeast that carries a horsey, spicy, cherry pie funk.

Pours a dark deep red, with a little head. Aroma is very tart, dry and sweet. Flavor is very tart, hints of cherries, dry, yet sweet. Good body and feel, but a little flatter. Overall, very tart, nice fruit flavors.
