Pours a nice dark brown, almost black color with a shot thin lightly tan colored head that does little lacing down the glass. Smells of sweet and toasted malt aroma, a hint of oatmeal at the end of the nose. Tastes of sweet toasted and darker roasted malts with a smooth oat finish. No frills, just an excellent oatmeal stout with a slight coffee finish. Smooth, velvety, perfect amount of carbonation. Overall, excellent. And, most excellent name.
