Drank on a BA flight from Heathrow to Vienna. Served with baked pretzels. Also making me feel healthful was the low ABV. Refreshing. I actually thought the hops blend was more subtle than the advertising copy on the can.
7 Bros Session Pale opens with a big pillowy head that leave lots of lace on a dark pale bod. Smells mostly of malt and even more of citrus. Tastes are balanced with a semi-dry finish from the bittering hops. Light-to-medium-mouthed. Pretty close to a model English IPA and what I prefer over AIPAs.
As for the very good Overall Hugs, that is for being a successful family business. Five taprooms and a distillery. Pretty good growth for ten years old. And credit to the 7 Brothers for getting along. Go on their website... they are all there, even look alike.
