From the squealer, it pours golden amber with a moderate off-white head. Pleasant in the nose, some grass. Very pleasant in the mouth, enjoyable overall!

On tap:
Maybe a hint of haze (could be chill); nice golden color. Pour to top, but carbonation visible and sustains patches.
Nose is grassy to grainy, with a light floral note. Little bit of dried apple and evens slight pumpkin pie spice, oddly.
Crisp bite I the opening with a Triscuit-like grain note. Bitterness is there as well, being the flavor representative of the main parts of the nose. Light lemon-grass like note and some earthy herbal bitterness. Carbonation and bitterness give a nice biting sensation on the tongue. Lingering bitterness is a strangely sweet and grassy taste.
This beer has a sweet and a bitter component, and each shows itself in different sips. I think as it warms, the maltiness starts winning a little more. I also am not sure why I get an impression of Sorachi Ace hop qualities, although they are muted. And I like Sorachi Ace, so whether it's in or not, it's and interesting and mildly pleasant surprise.
