Nice, medium light, ivory head. Medium caramel/orange appearance. Heavily caramel tinged, medium light toasted malt, with a touch of toasted wood for the aroma. Enjoyable, caramel tinged maltiness, with a tiny little woody bite, for the taste.

Had it from a bottle--newly available in Harris Teeter. Nice beer, clean crisp, malty but well balanced by the hops. Very much in the German style--would be welcomed there. Nice light amber appearance, but the head goes away too soon. Aroma of the noble hops is excellent. Mouthfeel is full, but clean and not at all cloying. This really is an excellent representative of a modern Vienna Lager. Would easily be respected in Vienna today.
