I really enjoy the peanut butter finish on this stout. It has a beautiful chocolate color. I try to get this beer anytime I am visiting Craft Beer Cellars in Cypress Tx.

I gave this another try recently, and my opinion really hasn't changed. Poured on Nitro.
A: This has always been a fairly unusual pour for me, for Nitro beers anway. Without having that full on cascading effect other beers have, and that is really the only good thing about beers on Nitro (maybe it has more to do with how a bar pours than anything). Dark brown, nearly black. A two finger tan head eventually forms with light lace.
S: Peanut butter, chocolate, artificial sweetness, powdered sugar. I can't get any real stout characteristic...
T: Follows the nose with peanut butter and this powdered chocolate taste, but seems to have even more artificial sweetness. Blah.
M/O: Artificially "creamy". With no real body that I can tell, except for a stickiness that comes from all the additives. Not something I really want to come back to.
I have always thought of this as more of a generic dessert flavored alcoholic malt beverage, than anything. The additives and Nitro mask everything here. I could just as easily be drinking something with Yoohoo mix and not know it.

Pours a pitch black color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is excellent as is lacing. Big peanut butter aroma with some chocolate at the end. More peanut butter with some chocolate. Very smooth. Must be nitroed. Light to medium bodied with mild to moderate carbonation.
