12 oz can,Poured on a Pint Glass:
LOOK: Dark brown with an approximate 2in head lasted for up to 1 and a half.
SMELL: Malt, hint of chocolate, and faint peanut.
TASTE: Roasted malt and decent peanut opening but fades quickly into burnt chocolate
FEEL: Decent carbonation does have a good opening but fades into roasted malt fairly quickly
OVERALL: First time trying it bought it local HEB 6-pack can. This is a great looking beer. If at a bar and poured this beer on a glass mug it'll sure Make quite an Impression. Unfortunately, that is it. It tastes mediocre and the ABV at 6% is okay. It seems Saloon Door attempted to make a Guinness Stout with somewhat of a peanut butter taste. If You want to taste a peanut butter stout I recommend Left Hand Peanut Butter Stout, still The Standard.

Poured from a nitro can into a pint glass
Appearance – An aggressive pour leads to cascade of brown bubbles streaming up through a deep brown body. The bubble cascade lasts about 30 seconds before leading to a thick and creamy tan colored foamy head that persists for a very long time.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is quite heavy of a wonderful peanut butter and milk chocolate like smell mixed with aromas of roasted malt and coffee. Along with these smells comes a good showing of vanilla and notes of confectioner sugar and caramel. Overall, very reminiscent of a dark chocolate peanut butter cup.
Taste – The taste begins with a semi sweet milk chocolate flavor mixed with some coffee and roast as well as a decent showing of vanilla. The peanut butter is lighter upfront, but as the taste moves forward it gets a bit stronger. At the same time sugar flavors of caramel and confectioners sugar get stronger as well, all while the coffee increases and the roast decreases. With all the flavor transitions that occur, one is left with a nice sweeter, moderately peanut flavored and roasty, chocolate taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is creamy and smooth as may be anticipated for a nitro brew. For the deep rich flavors the feel is nice and creates a nice sipper.
Overall -A rather good desert style brew that is not overwhelmingly heavy. Quite nice.
