UnTappd uses the French from BAPBAP's website, but for those who read English here is Google's translation--
BAPBAP's first permanent Lager, Faubourg is a Pilsner brewed according to the rules of the art: unfiltered and unpasteurized, it is refined thanks to a long cold aging which allows it to clarify its delicate flavors, coming from the French Pils malt and the noble hops (Saaz, Perle, Tettnang and Hersbrücker) used in its production.

I found Faubourg close to style. There certainly are German Pils with more hops, but BAPBAP brewed balanced here. Refreshing.

I got good enough clarity and bubbles with an OK foam. Smells are mostly malt. For Taste, the hop presence increases as I drink this on a warm spring day in a nice park on the Seine after walking across it from Gare Austerlitz to Gare Lyon. So this is a nice setting for me and this refreshing beer hit the spot. Almost medium-mouthed.

For my micro-review of BAPBAP, they seem to be doing well for a 10 year old. Brewing artisan beers in the heart of Paris (11th arrondissement), they opened their taproom in 2019 and are crafting beer styles to the capital of wine country. All good for starting and they seem intent on mastering their craft and they probably will. For that intent, I give them good Overall Hugs.
