L: Had this on-tap at Fine Creek Brewery, poured into a pint glass. Had a dark brown / black color and an opaque consistency. There was a thin, tan-colored, creamy head that quickly dissipated. Sparse lacing.
S: A decent, but not overwhelming, aroma of coffee, light hops, roasted malt, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of a moderate amount of roasted malt (only in the finish, really), a fair shot of coffee, a hint of milk chocolate (could have used more), and a little hops in the finish. Not a bad flavor, but it leans toward the bland. It could definitely use with a little push with some of its ingredients. Not bad, though.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an uneven beer, but it has its bright spots. Worth a look.
