Zwickel Pilsner

L: Had this beer on-tap at Fine Creek, poured into a pilsner glass. had a golden yellow-brown color and a clear consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.

S: Interesting aroma of hops, malt, a floral quality, citrus, and a vinous quality.

T: Tasted of a good shot of malt (omnipresent), a surprising amount of the vinous quality (very white wine-y), a mild hops presence, citrus (lemon), and a little bit of the floral quality. Like the aroma, kind of an odd aroma, but it works. The white wine makes for a good addition. Not complex, but tasty.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a dry finish. Light-bodied.

O: A very solid and likable pilsner. Certainly worth a look.
