L: Had this on-tap at Fine Creek, poured into a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and a hazy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: An interesting aroma of strawberry, rhubarb, barnyard funk, and light citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of rhubarb (not overly present), a good shot of strawberry, light citrus fruit (a tinge of lemon), and just enough barnyard funk - enough to know it's a saison. Not your typical saison flavor, but it works. The rhubarb (not my favorite) somehow meshes well with the strawberries. It's a fruity and likable flavor.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a smooth, somewhat dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An interesting take on the saison. Worth a try for something different.
