Thanks to Samm and the family for getting me this on Father's Day 2019.
A: Very dark brown in color with small bubbles rising up to the surface to create a light tan head.
S: Good tartness up front., with hints of red wine and berries.
T: Acidic with a touch of wine vinegar, dark berries and notes of light oak, and red wine. There is something I don't love in the aftertaste though.. something almost metallic or chocolate, but funky.
M: Medium light, but the higher carbonation makes it feel even lighter. Finish is dry.
O: Overall a pretty damn fine beer.

L: Poured from a bottle to a snifter glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white, somewhat long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of a vinous quality, cherries, yeast, chocolate, and wood.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of Belgian-style yeast (not overly prevalent), a lot of cherries (quite tart), some of the vinous quality (red wine, specifically), a bit of oak, and a hint of chocolate as well. This was aged in red wine barrels, and that gives it a nice kick. More subtle than some beers of the style, but still complex and tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is a solidly made beer. Worth a look.
