Pours a hazy orange/brown with very little head. No lacing to be found. Aroma is an interesting combination of somewhat sour fruit and rye spice with a some bread as well. Taste is also a nice combination of tart fruit and rye spice. Definitely an appropriately named beer. Light, crisp mouthfeel is quite refreshing, especially combined with the flavor components. Overall this is a pretty tasty beer from Arcadia and very nice on a hot day.

Served on draught in a 22 ounce mug.
Appearance: Despite claims of being blue-tinted, the brew was actually more of a golden-sienna color. Very nice frothy off-white head which left ring lacing as the drink receded. Translucent, not transparent. Looked a lot like a witbier.
Smell: Very berry, emphasis on the bitterness. Some wheaty/yeasty tones, but lots of berry here.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Very sour, the blueberries overtook almost all else in this instance. Once you get past the sourness, there's a great deal of breadiness to the beer. Chewy, and wonderful. Absolutely worth the price.
Overall: It fits the category perfectly. A taste akin to Shorts Brewery's "Soft Parade" with more emphasis on the blueberries than anything else. Nicely done Arcadia!

A fresh fruit aroma mixed with a little hop flower dances out of the just-poured glass and exhilarates the nose
As one might expect from well-made draft beer, the frothy head lasted until the glass was consumed (which was not long for this small sampler). The hazy, reddish-brown brew has good carbonation and a slight bluish-purple tint along the perimeters in the right light.
Only available on draft, the Roggenberry is brewed with rye malts and fresh Michigan blueberries, the bartender explains (Roggen means "rye" in German). This tasteful concoction has nicely balanced flavors of bittersweet fruit and toasted rye malts rushing over the tongue as the mild hops bind them together. The sample was impressive enough to prompt purchase of a growler to go, which survived for several days with no loss of flavor.
Another singular beer from this exemplary English-method brewery, which is worth a trip to Battle Creek if you are in the area.

The color pinkish orange and cloudy.
The smell has creamy malt elements, Mild sweet nose.
The flavor is sweet with a fruitiness that I associate with raspberries (what does a Roggen Berry taste like?). Unlike a typical Framboise, there is no corresponding tartness to provide balance. Moderate body with a soft level of carbonation. Moderately sweet finish.
