Look: Crystal clear pale yellow with a frothy white head that quickly forms a silky pillow and slowly recedes, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Cereal grains, floral hop notes, biscuity malt, wafts of pilsner malt, and a light sweet note
Taste: Cereal grains, pilsner malt, and biscuits come together for the initial hit and begin to develop depth as floral hops soon follow suit. Faint aromas of cherry blossoms are noted and interplay with the malt until to comes to a close
Mouthfeel: Light but not watery, clean, medium-high carbonation, and a crisp and clean finish
Overall: I dig it. This is a solid, tasty, and well-made American lager that is refreshing to imbibe. No frills here either as it’s just a good craft lager through and through and one I’d drink again, especially since these folks know how to brew lagers

Dang. Clear golden body. Big floral bouquet, mild citrus and lemon. Crisp and clean pilsner malt, mild bready sweetness, all carrying through on the palate. Lots of flavor, medium lighter body, crisp carbonation. True crispy boi

Canned 16 July. Thanks, Chris

A crystal clear light yellow with a dense white head that leaves little lacing, this looks solid. The nose is excellent. Crisp, clean, mildly lemony, ridiculously snappy with water cracker and animal cookie like dough notes. The palate opens moderately bitter, refreshing and with an exceedingly clean base. Straw, crisp water cracker pair with an acidic note from the high carbonation to make this really refreshing. Bright hops with lemon, with the bitterness amplified by the carbonation. Light corn and cooked jasmine rice notes. Drying on the finish, a little watery, with crisp carbonation. A delicate sweetness is present as well. Solid, refreshing stuff.

12oz can

Despite the “instructions” to drink out of the can, I’m giving this guy the glass test. Not only as the norm, but I find it even more deciding among lagers. At 4.7% I’ll be grading this as an American lager, not a light lager.

Pours a solid finger of white head into my hourglass. Fizzes, and fades somewhat quickly. Body is pale yellow, crystal clear, with a lot of bubbles coming up. Looks like your average American lager.

Nose is quite nice. Sweet, but well attenuated, crisp, hint of dryness. Some corn, but definitely some nice malt notes as well. Inviting. Hops are not very present.

Flavor generally follows suit, maybe not quite as full as the nose. A little bit drier than the nose let on, but overall very balanced, having equal parts sugar as well. Leans a little more towards the corn, but a small amount of barley is in here. A touch of bitterness, not much hop flavor. Not bad, there is only so much you can pull out flavor wise from this style, but this is good

Mouthfeel is, accurate. Light bodied. Carbonation is medium-high. Sugars are pretty well balanced which is unusual for this style, but welcome. Low bitterness. It might get a few points for the slightly less dry feel, but this is pretty straight forward.

Drinkability is obviously not an issue.

Appearance turned out pretty meh. Despite the reputation of American lagers, sometimes I get surprisingly good lacing, not this time.

Overall very clean, crisp, balanced, and most importantly - more flavorful than the norm, even if only a smidge.
