16oz pour in a jar with a handle at Chuck's Hop Shop Seward Park.
Pours clear light golden, maybe half a centimeter cap of head, tons of active, quick carbonation. Smell is light banana, yeast, some light spicy cloves.
Taste is interesting. Crisp, grassy lager with a moderate banana note. Strong, but gentle bitter finish. Super clean.
Mouthfeel is light and ry. Overall, good and interesting beer.

The beer pours a bright, clear golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose, I pick up a lovely mixture of banana, clove ,bubblegum and light spice. Textbook weisse beer aroma in this one, but without coming across as muddled or yeasty. The flavor profile replicates the nose, but what really strikes me is how clean the flavor profile is. The flavor profile is lightly sweet initially, but with the spice coming on strong at the end to keep it from being too much. This beer is impeccably well-balanced. Mouthfeel is perfect for the style I think. There's plenty of flavor, and the beer is not the least bit heavy or tiring to drink. Drinkability is off the charts. This is one weisse beer I could drink by the liter and never get tired of it.
This is an absolute tour de force by Wayfinder and is easily the best domestic Kristallweisse I've ever tasted. Frankly, it's hard not to be a bit astonished by this beer. Very, very impressive.

A clear light orange with a dense off-white head. The nose is spectacular with warm hefeweizen yeast character, soft, fruity, spicy with ripe bananas, overripe and creamy, perfectly complemented by the soft clove spice character. The palate opens clean, softly bready with a really rich banana character, overripe and mashed in a deep and glorious way. Softly complemented by the clove and soft pepper notes. Drying, clean, fruity finish with lingering banana. Delightful.
