An unapologetically rustic lager with subtle botanical notes of juniper berries and fresh lime.

Clear golden brew with adequate foam in the Timmermans goblet. Clean fruity aroma. Tangy and spritzy, but also oddly sweet. I did not read about this before I started tasting, and liked the robust flavor; but I was surprised by the lime and juniper. Very subtle additives and make for a really appealing light brew that doesn't fit in any of the boxes. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 02/02/24.

Canned on 2/2/23. Pour is a crisp, clear light amber. Thin head, some lacing with low carbonation. Light aroma of biscuits. Taste is different from most lagers, with a slightly thick malty start, then the hops come into play. Bitterness is low, but contrasts well with the malt to produce a rather tasty result. The web site says it uses juniper berries and fresh lime, so that's a big clue. At an ABV of 5.1%, it's very sessionable.
