Look: Pours the color of pink lemonade – pink and slightly cloudy – with a sudsy head that noisily settles to a lid, leaving decent lacing behind
Aroma: Prickly pear fruit (tunas), watermelon flesh and rind, prickly pear juice, and light cereal grains
Taste: Opens up with a hit of tart prickly pear fruit and juice that lingers for a moment before watermelon comes to join. Tunas and watermelon go back and forth as the light, grainy malt bill stays in the background through the close
Mouthfeel: Light, clean, medium-high carbonation, and crisp, clean, and lightly tart on the finish
Overall: I dig it. I saw agua fresca lager and prickly pear and those were enough for me to grab a few singles to try, being a fan of both, not to mention the brewery. It’s a good one y es como mitad una agua fresca de tunas y la otra mitad, una cerveza. Super refreshing, interesting, and definitely worth trying
