Formerly Boundless IPA

Our Session IPA offers mighty hop aromas and flavours featuring berry, tropical fruits, melon and citrus. Though big and complex across the palette, this remarkably balanced IPA is refreshing and approachable. A kinder, gentler IPA.

On-tap: Poured a golden color ale with a medium size white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some light grainy notes. Taste is a mix of light grainy malt notes with some citrus notes and medium bitterness. Body is about average with medium carbonation. OKish IPA with some bitterness.

L: Hazy dark golden amber, lots of particulate, decent head
S: Strong inviting smell, bright grassy citrus and caramel malts
T: A bit of a surprise after the smell, it's not very bright at all but more deep and rich in flavour. The hops have a earthy herbal resiny citrus pith flavour melded to a strong roasted toffee coffee malt with a hint of sweetness. Light bitterness.
F: Somewhat thick but not too heavy, oily and foamy , light carbonation and moderately dry.
O: A surprisingly deep and rich beer better suited as a fall or evening beer than a sunny summer beer. Seemed to have the flavours I was looking for but it was a bit much for my tastes.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a quick receding one-finger head. Aroma dominated by tropical fruit. Light tasting with strong hops, elevated carbonation and bitterness. Is 2020 over yet?

Pours clear brass with a patchy, smallish head. Light leafy, herbal hops, lemon and bready malts in the nose. The taste has an anemic citrusy, passionfruit hop profile with some coarse maltiness. Some astringent bitterness in the back. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with languid carbonation. Light bitterness and herbal notes in the shortlived finish.

This IPA is not very hoppy at all. Quite one dimensional too. Not terrible, but not a great IPA.
