On draft.
Pours a deep honey-marigold orange. Moderate white head with OK retention. Clarity seems dynamic and highly reflective.
Banana runts, orange esters, white pepper, sarsparilla bark, and Belgian yeast.
Offers some complexity with a dying effervescence that balances out the sweetness somewhat. Soft, lactic sourness with a moderate citric acidity.
Sweetness hits first but fades which hints at complexity. Baker's chocolate buckwheat pancakes, touch of maple syrup brightened by lavender and lemon zest. Drying spice of pepper and coriander; a lingering clove and herbal-bergamot h.cbitterness.

Decanted from an 16 oz (473 ml) can into a conical pint glass; canned 04/15/20.
A: Pours a very hazy, amber color with a explosive head formation, a two to three finger, fluffy, lemon chiffon head, rim and cap retention, but essentially no lacing.
S: Tart side of tangy and a touch of lactate. Aromas of banana, clove, caramel, and orange blossom.
T: Semisweet, but increasing sweet as it warms. Banana and clove flavors mix with other spices (sage and pepper), citrus (orange), and a vegetal, earthy note. Moderate, peppery bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Lingering bitterness with sweet finish.
O: Very drinkable and refreshing. A solid, well composed Saison.

A: The beer is hazy and somewhat pale yellow in color. There seems to be a light amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving some small patches of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of yeast are present in the smell along with a bit of associated spiciness.
T: The taste very much follows the smell and is dominated by flavors of yeast along with notes of grainy malts and hints of spiciness and floral hops. There is a light amount of bitterness from the hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied, somewhat dry and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: With the yeasty and grainy flavors, this saison definitely tastes like it is very rustic.
