This beer is common where I live in Southeast Texas. It is a good lager and is a staple if I am looking for lager at the liquor store. It has an bready, rice-like aroma; it’s flavor is decently good with a smooth finish. Hardly any aftertaste at all. Good quality lager.

CAN: 12 fl oz.
Currently #96 on the Top American Lager list, though it seems pretty plainly to be an adjunct lager.
"Craft brewed using Louisiana Rice from our local mill, this easy-drinking Lager is approved for Backyard BBQ's, Crawfish Boilin', Tailgating, Fishing, and all things Louisiana." 4.9% ABV.
For a rice lager, it's got decent body and flavour, never tending thin or watery. Pale malt/2-row and generic floral hop flavours are present. Balance is decent. It drinks easy enough.
I can't say it's a great beer, but it's better than many adjunct/rice lagers out there. A bit on the sweet side, but tolerable.

Light gold with the head leaving real quick, not a real strong smell to it, nice barley taste actually quite lovely, light to medium body with a medium carbonation

Very solid lager. Creamy feel with a crisp finish. Well carbonated. I would buy again.

From the can, it pours a nice clear amber with a modest head. Definite bready scent. In the mouth it is nice light malt flavor and the feeling is smooth and silky.

Wow this really surprised me. Since drinking Alex i have stayed away from lagers, but have this a try and it was great. Would definitely drink again!

Crying Eagle Louisiana Lager has an extremely exuberant, fiercely fizzy, stark-white head, which goes right away, a murky, golden, highly bubble-charged appearance, with large and tiny tan chunks, suspended throughout, and almost no glass lacing. The aroma is oddly Belgian like, with a horse blanket yeast smell, boiled rice, and bread. Taste is of spiced white bread, brown rice, candy sugar, a kiss of hops (at best), and farmhouse characteristics. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Louisiana Lager finishes dry.
