Not for everyone - but if a rich, creamy, dark ale with a distinguished roast flavor appeals to your taste buds you will enjoy a pint of McGuire's Stout. To produce the sumptuous, creamy head we use a special nitrogen draft system. This robust brew is created with dark roasted barley and Chinook Hops.

Had this one at dinner on the last night in Destin, FL for aasher’s wedding! Served from tap into a sampler shooter. Poured pitch black with a half finger light tan head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained excellent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, cream, roasted malt, and subtle chocolate. The flavor was comprised of sweet malt, dark chocolate, roasted malt, subtle cream, and wood. It had a medium feel on the palate with mild carbonation. Overall this was a decent brew. If I am honest, this was probably the highlight of all the brews I had while at this location that night. While this one wasn’t that bad, it left me craving more from it. I know this style isn’t known for its robustness, but I would love for one to come out of the blue and backhand me as a wakeup call. Good for the style, but definitely not a standout.

Came in a standard U.S. pint glass. Black color, thin head.

Great smell, coffee, roasted malt. Rich flavor.

Tastes just like it smells, roasted malt, bitter in the middle with a hint of coffee to round it out.

Smooth body, low carbonation and medium bodied. Brings it all together well.

Really solid stout. Easy drinking and good.
