Released summer 2023; drank 9/10/23 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; decent lacing remained.
Corn, autumn leaf & mild caramel notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Autumn leaves & corn flavors; mild caramel notes on the finish.
A drinkable, forgettable Oktoberfest.

Bought from Beermiscuous.
This release is suitable for easy winter drinking; although it does have more hops than the Bavarian masters.
Das Bueno has average Looks; while a dark amber, it lacks an active yeast. Smells are mostly malt. Tastes are balanced, although the hops linger longer than I prefer for this to be a table beer. Feel is light to medium-mouthed, but possibly too bubbly. In yet another re-release, reduce the bubbles and smooth the brew's effect.
Focussing on the Belgo food-friendly side of their beer portfolio, I like Cruz Blanca and keep telling myself I'll visit their gastropub. But Covid has made me shy.
4/15/22 Bought again. Suitable for a crummy April weather and Good Friday. Hence, versatile. Edited above. Counting @ UnTappd.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear dark amber with white head that left some lace. The scent had sweet dark German malt. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with molasses presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.
