12 ounce can into a tulip snifter. A 2022 release, had 7/24/23.
Pours a cloudy medium amber, with a half inch foamy head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, malt, other spices, some rum and caramel, light pineapple and vanilla. Mostly similar flavors: cinnamon, pineapple, rum, other spices, malt, some caramel, a little vanilla. Tastes a little tart. Smooth, a very good lighter medium body, appropriately carbonated.
The cinnamon and pineapple are great. The barrel presence fades as it warms, which seems novel to me. Overall, it’s tasty, interesting and well executed.

Had on tap. Cloudy brown pour with a full tan head. Rum backed pineapple, canella, molasses, and spices in both the smell and taste, almost has a banana bread underlining without the banana. Punch of booze marks the otherwise spices and frothy body, smooth and lighter than expected, but sweetness does start to add up. Inventive and fun!
