Canned 5/7/18
Look: Hazy light golden yellow. 2 fingers worth of frothy white head with some retention. Loads of lacing on the glass.
Smell: Bright citrus and tropical fruit notes coinciding with pleasant hop aromas. The citra hop is evident, giving a nice fruity/earthy aroma. Orange, grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, mango, papaya and pineapple all present on the nose.
Taste: Follows the nose, with slight more hop emphasis. The citrus fruits are upfront, with some mango, pineapple and papaya on the finish. Hops are present, giving a nice grassy/citrus flavor. Very pleasant tasting, fitting of a "tropical IPA." The fruit flavors are present, but so is the hop bitterness. Very enjoyable.
Feel: Light to medium in terms of body and weight, leaning more towards light. The beer is somewhat watery feeling, with seemingly high-ish carbonation for the style.
Overall: I would buy this again. It is full of both hop and fruit flavor, and very enjoyable. I love the pronounced hop flavors working with the fruit flavors. I am grateful to have tried, and recommend. Cheers!
