This roasty, fall-tinged beer is brewed in collaboration with Oakland’s Obi Kaufmann (@coyotethunder) in celebration of his new book, The State of Fire, Why California Burns. Not only did Obi provide this beautiful art for the label, we are donating $1 from every pint of Red Sky sold to assist Californians displaced and impacted by 2024 wildfires.
Red Sky is our take on a classic, native Bay Area style, the California Common, with a “steamy” history that dates back to the Gold Rush. Nutty malt with a hint of caramel invokes aromas of toffee and peanut brittle. A touch of floral and herbal hops keep the sweetness in check.
