Picked up a single pint can. Canning date: 05/04/26 -- fresh!
Beautiful, juicy golden haze on the pour with a lasting, creamy head on top. Carbonation looks average or a tick above. Plenty of lacing as you drink. Pretty, but does not look like a West Coast IPA.
Aroma is very fruit forward. Pineapple, peach, melon. Maybe a hint of pine in there, and a touch of sweet malts. Does not smell like a West Coast IPA either.
Flavor follows the aroma. Pineapple, peach, grapefruit, a touch of pine. The malts are subtle and buttery. Finish is bitter grapefruit and malty butter that lingers. Delicious, but not a West Coast IPA.
This is medium bodied with a lovely creamy, chewy mouthfeel and a hint of hop oils left behind on the tongue after the swallow. Carbonation is just right. Refreshing and easy to drink.
This is a delicious beer, but it's more like a NEIPA than a West Coast IPA. The hop profile is wrong (too fruity) and the malt balance is not there. It's also hazy. I don't get why all these breweries are labeling this style of beer as a West Coast IPA. It is delicious and quality stuff though, just mis advertised in my opinion. I'd have another.
