This saison was brewed with Pilsner & wheat malt and fermented in our American Oak foeder. A touch of wood and notes of apple, pear, lemon and white pepper dance with a creamy body and a dry finish for a most elegant ale.

Tall can ...6/17/20 stamped on the bottom

Hazed light almond amber pour, minor head and minor lacing.

On the sniff, its some ripe fruit, coriander, vanilla and honey.

Carbonation on the the low side.

On the palate its more of the nose, but with more sweetness coming forward. Honey, melon, vanilla, earthiness and a late hop presence all coming to mind. Tasty and enjoyable ....well worth a try.

A: The beer is rather hazy dark yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving only a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of floral hops and oak are present in the nose along with hints of honey.
T: The taste has flavors of floral hops and oak, the latter of which contributes some hints of vanilla. Some hints of Belgian yeast are also perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No dryness is perceptible.
O: This saison was light in body but had some interesting complexities in the flavors. It is exceptionally drinkable.

From the can, it pours a clear yellow straw color with visible carbonation. Nice large fluffy and frothy white head retains well.

The aroma has some complexity, showing a combination of fruity esters, peppery yeast and bready and honey malt. Aromas of bright citrus fruit including orange and lime. Notes of light funk, musty and dewy grass and coriander and peppercorn like spices. Notes of grape make this aroma vinous along with a fragrant floral perfume.

The taste represents a nice marriage between fruity and spicy complexity amidst a refreshingly dry palate that makes it easy to drink. Flavors of fruity esters and hops evoke notes of white grape, orange peel, lime, peach and tropical fruit. Well spices with grassy and earthy hops, a modest bitterness, and plenty of yeasty phenols that evoke peppercorn and coriander. Medium bodied with a solid bready, cracker and honey malt backbone, moderately sweet and with a mouth coating fullness. Yet, it also has a vinous and fruity dryness that aids drinkability. Likewise, the finish is dry with a rustic and earthy flavor. The carbonation throughout is lively.

There is a lot going on in this Saison; it is tasty, aromatic and complex. Yet, it is quaffable and refreshing.

Look: Coppery orange with white foam on top,
Smell: Strong smell of alcohol and grains (barley), yeast and something sour.
Taste: A good complex saison, there are wildflowers and strong barley combined with an indistinct sweetness.
Feel: Nicely carbonated and not too syrupy.
Overall: An interesting beer, all kinds of flavor.
