Served in a teku glass from the bottle.
Appearance: Hazy gold coming off a touch dark with a white head rising maybe half a fingers length.
Smell: Hops and malt
Taste: Complex spicy and malty floral feel. Actually feels sweet.
Mouth: finish feels dry with a full body.
Overall: Good brew that I wouldn't mind marinating a steak or pork with. Salud

Canned on 11/12/18
Pours a slightly cloudy golden copper with a soft two fingers of creamy, white foam; solid head retention and dense, thick walls of lacing left around the glass until it's practically empty.
Aromas of peppery spice mixed nicely among hoppy herbal notes, grapefruit, and some crisp, bready malt; faintly floral at times, adding a nice bit of depth, but never quite harmonizing the spicier notes with the rest of the bouquet.
Taste shows vegetal, peppery spice, sweet herbal tones, peach, and flaky malt all hitting in a concentrated burst upfront, followed by more settled notes of grapefruit pith and wilted peppermint as the profile smoothes out on the palate.
Mouthfeel brings well-tempered spice upfront with perfectly integrated carbonation guiding a light-medium body along the palate and creating an overarching plushness along with a crisp finish; completely sessionable and an excellent, balanced integration of the profile on the palate.
At its best, an extremely well-constructed beer with depth and smooth herbal/spice integration; otherwise, it falters a bit with some imbalance in the profile and relatively untamed peppery notes. Ultimately, this still comes to be a very drinkable option, both in sessionability and in its approach to detailed flavor in a more mild beer.

16oz undated can.
Pours clear gold with an inch-plus of white foam. Average retention and lacing. Aromatics are subdued for a "double dry hopped IPA". Mild notes of honey and citrus. Medium bodied and slightly syrupy. Tacky. Bready sweetness starts the palate with shades of citrus and pine which are quickly overtaken by some building pepper heat. The heat builds a bit with each sip in the back of the throat but never gets overbearing. Finishes with a malty sweetness and lingering heat in the throat.
Pretty nice pepper beer but more hops and more heat would be nice.
