Poured from the can into a tulip type glass.
Beaming bright and crystal clear in body appearance. Bright beaming lemon dark yellow with a good middle column of rising carbonation. A bit out of control, but large truly mushroom huge forming head. Bleach white bright, but does eventually settle down. Big rocky retention though with giant clumping and very soapy lacing.
Real nice inviting aroma. Mild excellent mix of funky esters and touching excellent citrus and tropical hop like notes on the nose. Very nice phenolic clove sense that even gets into cinnamon flavors of sweetness. This is a real nice mix of hop and funk that's very complimentary and different, for a very unique combination.
Delicious palate. Peppery and lightly playful mouthfeel in spice and texture. Carbonated popping peppercorn with a nice more herbal flavor of hop than the fruit nose hinted at. Chewy slightly malt body but also mild funk, slight mild carbon dioxide like gas, and earthy touches of hay and grass flavor with a mild steely funk.
Real deserving amped saison.
