The latest of Oval’s barrel aging program, Resurrection is a Barley wine aged in Bourbon barrels that were used to age spirits that where once beer. Mountain Spirit Distilling stilled a hoppy amber ale into a delicious 140 proof spirit. The spirit was aged in the barrels until saturation. Then the Barley Wine was added and aged in the barrels for 10 months. Only 31 gallons will be sold this year in order to age the remainder for additional time
