Poured from tap into shaker, 1 finger cream colored head, great retention and lacing. Crystal clear pale yellow in the glass, beautiful beer. Smells of biscuit, grass and lemon. Taste bready, some grassiness, lemon, and finishes with a slight floral bitterness. These guys make nice lagers

This is the newest version of Holler's Pale Lager series. Which is single malt ( Pilsner) matched up with a single hop...this time Azacca.
A: Pours a brilliantly clear brassy yellow color. A dense two finger white head forms with excellent retention, and plenty of lace left behind.
S: Pale malts with bread and biscuit up front. Grains are prevalent. Then the hops come in. Citrus, lemon, light pine and mango, peppery spice. Really nice and well balanced.
T: Like the nose, the Pilsner malts are really nice up front with grains and baked bread. White pepper and spice. Then the citrusy, lemon, and mango of the Azacca take over. Lingering bitterness that lasts for a while. Still, really enjoyable and balanced.
M/O: A light to medium body. Perfectly crisp, super clean and finishes very dry. Really easy and enjoyable to drink. I can come back to this again and again.
Another excellent lager made from Holler. I love this series, and am glad they can showcase new hop varieties with a traditional lager base. All around well done.
