A: Pours with with a bit of haze that clears up as this warms. A dense two finger white head forms with excellent retention. Plenty of lace is left down the glass as well.
S: White pepper, light phenols, and even some peppermint in the nose. I love the yeast character here, and finishes with plenty of hop character. Citrus, grapefruit, a little grassy. Very aromatic, and very nice.
T: Like the nose all that wonderful yeast, esters, and peppery flavors intermingle up front. With light phenols, plenty of bright hop flavors. Pungent citrus and grapefruit rind. Sturdy bitterness lingers, but still really well balanced.
M/O: A medium body with beautiful carbonation. Crisp, effervescent, clean, and super dry. I can seriously drink this all day, really well done.
A great summer Saison. Plenty of yeast character that is balanced perfectly with some Amarillo hops. Another offering from Holler that just gets better every time I have a pint.
