Appearance: Pours a thoroughly hazed, cloudy, milky-yellow body with a slim, brief, white head.
Smell: The heady aroma of a turbid, coarse grain goulash garnished with lavender, earthy spices, flower stems, tangy citrus.
Taste: Slick, chewy presence of rustic grain schtew. Minimal sweetness. A little fruitiness, some of it citrus-minded as a bit of brightening acidity, pithiness hits. Lavender, whole spices. Quasi-plantlike flavor. Minimal bitterness. Lightly sweetened porridge on the smooth finish with a bit of grapefruit, hop trub.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Well, they can't all be winners.

This has got to be one of my favorite New England hazies, and it isn't even made up North. These guys make some really badass IPAs! It's super hazy (like deep orange-yellow) and lush with tropical flavors. Even the mouthfeel is darn near perfection. It's pillowy and almost cream-like. Everything you could want from a real hazy!

Pours a very cloudy darkish yellow color with a thin foamy head. Mild head retention. Lacing is decent. Juicy citrus. More of a piney resin than expected but I like it. Juicy citrus taste. Nice amount of bitter pineyness. Very mild dank. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
