Depending on what the shorts are made of craft beer drinkers will try anything. Made with raspberries, strawberries, pineapples and coconut and those shorts stand no chance.
Rusty mauve, Drink My Shorts Man struggles with a broken froth but shines with a fruit cocktail scent of red berry and tropical fruit rounded with musty aromas of damp burlap and cidery perfume. Sweeter once on the tongue, suggestions of fruit juices, hard candy, sourdough and pastry tarte play out in a creamy, sweet and fuller flavor. Balanced with tartness, notions of green apple, white grape, lime and lemon play out in a succinctly sour finish with peppery undertones.
Full bodied and smoothie-like, the sour ale is an even keel session between sweet and sour with a mild fruity aftertaste.
