A collab with Boundary bay Brewery, to help Bellingham Firefighters raise funds and coats to keep kids warm during the winter months.
Served in 14oz teku. Poured a dark red raspberry color, with 1/4 inch of pink head that quickly dissipated and left no lacing.
A strong dose of raspberry hits the nose first, with some yeast spice in the background. A very gentle malt profile also shows up.
Same on the tongue, although the raspberry and malt balance each other out nicely, and the yeast is a bit more subdued.
The body is light, crisp, smooth and has a dry finish.
Drinkability was very, very good, especially if you like raspberries (which I do!).
Overall, a very nice beer for a very worthy cause. a limited number of bottles are available, and an even more limited amount of draft. try it if you see it.
