Farmhouse Ale aged in port wine barrels with Quince and Quince juice. I was braced for another acid blast, but pleasantly surprised that it's an actual non-sour Saison. It's a bit sweet, even. The quince tastes quite fruity but it's a different flavor from anything, maybe a little like mango with a bit of lemon peel. Some yeasty bitterness in the finish. Creamy carbonation and tangy on the tongue. Overall it's a nice balance with the fruit and tart, and makes an excellent Saison. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station.
