Being the first review and only the second rating on BA in five years, I probably won't create work for Monitors and ask for the Update. But I at least want to note two changes here. First... The Brews name now is Gansbeek Blond/Blonde. (The two spellings being the Brussels deal of writing ing everything in Flemish and French.)

Second, the real contract brewer now is Gansbeek. (Meester probably was the original contract brewer... and still may let Gansbeek use their equipment.) But UnTappd (with 1925 Uniques for Gansbeek) spent the time to sort out this cooperative venture and even offers this Description if someone wants to add it: "Gansbeek Brewing Co is a collaborative micro-brewery that follows the Belgian brewing tradition by offering craft beers of impeccable quality brewed with exclusively natural and 100% Belgian raw materials. For the record, the name Gansbeek comes from the fusion of the names of the municipalities, namely Ganshoren and Etterbeek in Brussels district."

Finally, Blond/Blonde is a nice table ale. I'm having it with a sandwich now and has a foamy head and pleasant bod. She Smells mild and Tastes mild... but who wants to deal with a temperamental blond/blonde when you're eating. In fact, she's almost perfectly balanced. Even soft in the mouth, despite the lingering hops. (I'm talking about ale, you know.)

Anyhow, the large Overall Hugs are for putting up with my jokes. More importantly, I want to show my admiration for this cooperative business model for nanos that I've now found several times in only the three days I've been in Brussels. A Votre Sante' ... and Sante' !
