Can at share, courtesy of Toby. Black pour with beige head, spotty lacing. Chocoalte and cherries, just like the namesake cake. Roasted malts carry the bakery flavors. A bit on the thin side, but still pretty good.

From 16 oz can.
Deep dark brown. Loose, frothy tan head rises2 inches high, but retreats quickly to mere nonexistence.
Aromas of chocolate, mild sweet cherry, and lite notes of caramel and roast.
Flavor follows, but it seems restrained. I think this is where the thin mouthfeel, and lack of carbonation takes their toll.
Overall, with the anemic mouthfeel pulling this out of the norm for a stout, it's hard to enjoy as a "stout." having said this, it is a decent tasting beer.
