Completely transparent golden/lemon-yellow brew. Head production is good, retention is OK, and lacing is quite nice.
Citrus, pine, honey, papaya, and mango on the nose. Minor notes of grass, earth, and pepper.
A touch slick on the palate, but a nice carbonation bite up front. Flavors deliver a predictably old school WC IPA profile, given 65 IBU, and Simcoe and Centennial hops (the El Dorado presence blends in rather nicely). Moderate-to-high bitterness, cracker, biscuit, grass, pine, lemon, grapefruit peel, melon.
A very nice throwback IPA, with a perfectly clear body, clean profile, and decent bitterness.
