On the way out of the can this looks a lot like cola, but is much darker and less translucent once in the glass. Almost no head, and very little retention. Aroma is very, very sweet with chocolate, lactose and peanut butter all combining to form an interesting, if not all that noteworthy smell.
Those same notes show up on the tongue, but they work better together than on the nose. The peanut butter leads the way, followed by plenty of lactose sweetness and chocolate. Medium feel and almost no carbonation.
Overall an interesting, sweet sipper.

Look - Poured jet black with a quickly receding one finger tan head.
Smell - Peanut, cacao, vanilla, roasty notes. The aromas are intense and none overpower the others.
Taste - This is a big boozy brew. Sweet chocolate hits me first and coats the mouth. The roast and peanut is more perceptible on the finish which lingers. The 12.5% abv is very obvious the entire way through.
Feel - It was nice and thick which I enjoy. As mentioned above this is a sweet stout that coats the mouth, but left my glass quite sticky which is not always enjoyable.
Overall - I usually find peanut butter stouts to be lacking in noticeable peanut flavor, but this one left me quite satisfied in that regard. It didn't overtake the other flavors, but rather complemented them. I could not drink this every day, but I could see myself sipping one again.

Pours black with a tan head, there’s some peanuts on the nose, some char, some vanilla, and a LOT of sweet aromas.
The peanuts are also present on the taste, and so the char and vanilla notes are present, too, but the sweetness from the lactose is strong, almost to the point of being cloying. Almost.
This is most definitely a pasty stout, if the sweetness was pulled back a bit, this beer would approach world class. Still a really nice sipper of a big, brawny imperial stout.
