Brassy gold in color. Semi-hazy. Fluffy head soon retreats to a scattered lace on top that feebly reaches toward the white ring of foam that clings to the glass. Some floaties.
Smells initially of bright lemon zest, then goes to a slightly yeasty tinged crackery malt note that moves back to an earthy bitter.
Taste has more going on. Begins with a blend of floral lemon and tropical notes akin to guava and mango. Then a warm bittering note comes through. An ever so subtle cracker malt peeks in and quickly backs retreats in the face of the bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is active, almost a prickly.
Overall, a pretty good one, nothing spectacular.
