Clear golden beer, capped by an abundant fluffy white head.
Nose is a smooth blend of piney and orange rind. Malt base pops in with a tad more depth than I usually get from honey.
Flavor is more subdued. Malt base is light, almost bready. Orange notes are skittish behind the mild pine presence. Lithe bitterness.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side. Carbonation is good. Finish is gentle.
Overall, decent but I wouldn't walk through fire to grab this again.

havent met a desirable honey IPA yet.... but it's not bad
"Honeycomb Hopscotch is an experimental West Coast IPA that utilizes some local Temecula Valley sourced orange blossom honey. It pours with a fluffy white head and has a light amber color. Aromas of tropical pineapple and orange blossoms pop on the nose. Flavors of tropical & citrus fruits from the hop trio used are balanced well by the mildly sweet Honey Malts used in the recipe. This fun and innovative West Coast IPA is medium in body with a clean and pleasantly lingering bitterness. Be sure to grab this great alternative to the endless amounts of IPA’s on the shelf before all the BUZZ causes it to disappear!"
